| Job Summary | As a Data Integration Engineer, you'll be a valuable member of our technology team at our Bala Cynwyd headquarters, located just outside Center City Philadelphia. Your primary role will involve designing, developing, and providing consultation for batch and real-time data integration solutions within a Unix/Linux environment. You'll work closely with technical and business teams to analyze data requirements and develop solutions using enterprise-class tools and custom scripting methods. This role provides exposure to cutting-edge distributed database environments supporting critical business activities, and we're seeking an individual excited to contribute to the evolution and adoption of newer technologies within our firm globally. Your responsibilities will span ETL process design, administration, monitoring, and support, along with collaboration on data processing and ETL performance tuning. You'll also manage defects, enhancements, and new functionality requests while identifying and resolving problems within data processing infrastructure. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required, along with 1-5 years of ETL development experience in Unix/Linux environments. Proficiency with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL is expected, as is a good understanding of relational databases and data processing methodologies. Skills in PL/SQL, T-SQL, shell scripting, Python programming, and experience with various data formats and transfer protocols are essential. Exposure to data streaming technologies like Kafka, Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, and cloud technologies is a plus.
