| Job Summary | We are seeking an exceptional Security DevOps Engineer to become a valuable member of our team. As a Security DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to the success of the security team through your diverse skills. We are looking for individuals who are not only experts in security but also have a keen interest in DevOps and programming. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams, identifying technical solutions to problems (whether through purchase or internal development), and working on software projects that may encompass legacy or greenfield projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing on-call support as needed. To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of various security areas, proficiency in a programming language, experience with DevOps practices and tooling, knowledge of Linux systems, and expertise in automation and scripting on the Linux platform. Your strong initiative, proven ability to independently drive projects to completion, and excellent problem-solving and debugging skills will be essential. Understanding the various layers within the OSI model is also important. Bonus points are awarded for working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, GoLang, Rust, C#, or Java, as well as prior experience in web development technologies like JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Flask, Django, Vue, or React. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Chef, Capistrano, or Puppet is a plus. Experience using AWS for delivering solutions is also highly regarded. While prior experience in the trading or financial industry is preferable, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role. |
