| Job Summary | We are in search of a skilled FPGA Application Architect to join one of our trading teams. In this role, you will embark on an exciting journey of building FPGA applications from the ground up for an existing team. While utilizing FPGA technology for several years, you will have the unique opportunity to craft FPGA applications from scratch. We are seeking a candidate with a strong grasp of software and hardware interaction, capable of participating in the full development lifecycle, including system and block-level testing, to create low-latency, high-throughput FPGA designs. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing new FPGA applications, researching and evaluating cutting-edge FPGA hardware and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to overcome FPGA and hardware limitations, and collaborating directly with software and other design teams. Additionally, you will conduct lab debugging and characterization of new hardware. To thrive in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer or Electrical Engineering, possess at least 3 years of relevant experience (Master’s degree or higher also counts for experience), and exhibit solid hardware engineering expertise, especially in FPGA. Your autonomy and can-do attitude will be key as you lead FPGA-based projects from system requirements to production, quickly evaluating project feasibility based on hardware limitations. Strong skills in RTL logic design (Verilog), FPGA design flow, and knowledge of TCP/IP stack are essential. Familiarity with XILINX or ALTERA FPGA design flow and experience in functional verification using high-level methodologies (e.g., System Verilog) are advantageous. Excellent research and data gathering skills complete the desired profile for this role.
