| Job Summary | We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Technology Project Manager to support our technology initiatives and contribute to our dynamic organization. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to manage projects from inception to delivery, playing a pivotal role in the establishment of exceptionally high-quality trading environments. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing full project life cycles, including the creation and maintenance of project plans and documentation, as well as facilitating standup, planning, and retrospective meetings. Collaboration will be key as you work with internal departments and external vendors to secure approvals and negotiate service agreements. Additionally, you will coach IT Services professionals in the application of project management methodologies to their organization and maintain crucial relationships with trading business units and software development teams throughout technology infrastructure implementations. Regular reporting on project progress and risks to management will be essential. To excel in this role, you should bring a minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams and managing complex IT infrastructure projects, with a strong preference for previous involvement in the trading/capital markets industry. Proficiency in networking technology and hardware, coupled with solid knowledge of networking and data center concepts and terminology, will be highly beneficial. Your demonstrated initiative, ownership of project success, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities will be instrumental. Familiarity with the PMI Body of Knowledge is desired, and a PMP certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and prior experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments are essential qualities we seek. A Bachelor's degree is required to meet the qualifications for this role. |
